Ah Festivities!

A thin ray of green light pierced through a translucent creation. A glance around ensured it wasn't the only one! The JLT lawns was lit up. So were dozens of trees on campus. A sight every XLer, leave aside photography freaks, would run their hearts out to capture. It was the year-end time!

I stopped to sit down in the lawns, the beauty of the surrounding encompassing all other thoughts that were craving to get the limelight! There was something very unique about the entire arrangement. The entire beauty stemmed from the nature and only nature! For that matter the buildings around provided a shield to the heaven land.

The lights made the nature glow even in the darkness of the night. It provided a perfect blend of the eye-striking beauty of some of the big cities and the calm silence of the remote land. Ah I love festivals.

It shattered a fear that a movement towards the mesmerizing lights of cities made you move away from nature. That nature and advancement can go hand in hand is a thought so pleasing to any human.

I don't know whether at all my thoughts are for real, whether the dream it showed was achievable. But all it gave was hope, hope that what it takes to solve problems on this earth is a different take, a different angle! And all I can take forward is a drive to be cognizant!

May the year bring to you all the happiness you desire!
